Crosswalk Flags Installed on Patrick Henry + 18th Street North - Arlington, VA

Concerned neighbors that have children walking to Swanson Middle School every day decided to install a set of See Me Flags at the intersection of Patrick Henry Dr. and 18th St. N. The crosswalk flags are there to hep pedestrians cross the crosswalk on Patrick Henry Drive

One of the concerned parents, Erin Hart, said "cars coming down the hill from Harrison Street go very fast and usually do not stop for kids using the crosswalk. We have asked the county for better signaling at the crosswalk but with no success. The See Me Flags should make our kids more visible when crossing the street" continued Hart. 

See Me Flags is always excited to work with concerned neighbors, parents, schools and civic associations to make their neighborhood streets a bit safer for pedestrians of all ages.
